Welcome to our Skye holiday cottage...

Epona Cottage is a friendly, family run holiday cottage located at the small township of Geary on Waternish, one of the most northerly and dramatic peninsulas on the beautiful Isle of Skye, Scotland.

Here you will experience unspoilt panoramic views of Loch Snizort, the wonderful Ascrib Islands and finally in the distance the mighty Quirang and the Trotternish ridge with the small fishing port of Uig nestled below.  If that is not enough, Waternish provides stunning views across the Little Minch to the Outer Hebrides and beyond.

Our location is tranquil yet convenient for access to many of the Isle of Skye's main attractions and activities.  Waternish itself has many points of local and historic interest, with the added convenience of an excellent sea food restaurant and the oldest Inn on the island, where you can relax by the open fire and have a wee dram or two as the sun sets over Loch Bay......

Selection of quotes from the guest book in 2008:

"Beautiful cosy cottage, amazing light and views from the east side.  The tips and local knowledge from Janet and Ian were really helpful for a short break.  Many thanks for the homemade bread and the dogs were fun!" - Jan & Paul, Cumbria

"Cosy cottage, comfy bed, crazy cats and dogs! Stunning views and spectacular scenery all made exceptional by the superb weather, friendly neighbours and wildlife.  Will come again for longer!" - Ann & Ian, Nottingham

"Wonderful cottage with an exceptional view! In fact, everywhere one goes here there is a magnificent view! Eaten our way round the island and going home for a rest... and diet! Will return..." - Andrew & Pauline, Oare, Devon
