About the holiday let The croft house itself was built in the 1930s and is therefore traditional in style with open fires in the reception rooms and in the bedrooms! When the family purchased the croft in 2002 central heating was fitted and further renovation has been carried out to bring the house up to modern day standards without compromising the traditional features. The house has two double bedrooms; one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds (the twin beds can actually link together to form a queen size bed in the case where two couples are staying). We can therefore cater for groups of up to four people (with ample parking space for two cars). There is a traditional style bathroom with fitted shower over the bath and a well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher). The living room, which has an open fire, is also equipped with a TV and DVD player. In the large dining room there is also a stereo so that after a day of sight seeing you can listen to some of your favourite songs! If you want to see more of the inside of the holiday let then why not have a look at the gallery. As with many of the homes in Geary, this is still a working croft as we have a small number of native breed cows, horses and hens (and hopefully a good supply of free range eggs for our guests!). We look after the land on the croft and are part of the rural stewardship scheme that helps to keep traditional activities alive and protect and encourage local wildlife. Our son is also a keen fisherman so given the right time of year, there is always a good supply of freshly caught mackerel from Loch Snizort for those who wish to partake!
